Friday May 31, 2019 Weather Update

Ayyyyoo. We made it to Friday.
We've had a great Friday. Nice a warmer out there with only a few showers and isolated storms up in the mountains. Through the rest of the evening, expect an isolated shower and maybe a gusty storm to roll off of the mountains. Nothing too serious though.

SUMMARY:
Nice and warm weekend ahead. Watching Sunday for the possibility of isolated severe storms.
Hot by Monday. Maybe our first 90° day?
Midweek will be slightly rainier and cloudier
Followed by a drier end to the week

DEETS:
Overnight lows will be mild tonight. Falling to within a couple of degrees of 50°.
Saturday will start out nice and sunny and thanks to a relatively low amount of moisture, we will have a pretty sunny day. Highs will get close to the upper 70s (and maybe 80°) but I'll hold us in the upper 70s for now. Isolated showers are possible but not very likely.

Sunday is an interesting day. Highs will be pushing the upper 70s again but we'll see an increase in moisture and have a little bit more instability in the atmosphere thus the possibility of a storm that forms turning severe will be there.

Monday looks very similar to Sunday EXCEPT it'll be hotter! Highs will approach 90° on Monday with some storms possible, but again it's looking meh.

The rest of next week will feature showers and storms for Tuesday and Wednesday then drying out through Friday and then a return of moisture for next weekend. We'll see if that continues to play out.

Here's the repeat of what I've been saying all week. Warming temperatures are going to increase snowmelt by a lot and with snow levels very very high, rain showers will be falling on the snow and overnight lows won't be dipping below freezing for many places which concludes that we will see some rapid snowmelt. All of the rivers and reservoirs are ready for it!

That's all for now. Enjoy your weekend!
